As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and converting prospects into new clients. You will develop sales and margins by offering tailored product and service solutions, emphasizing a value-driven sales approach.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying and converting prospects into long-term clients.
- Develop new business with direct/indirect partners such as Design Offices, Operators, Installers, and General Contractors.
- Promote products, solutions, and services to customers and key market players.
- Define sales strategies based on customer needs and value differentiation.
- Support projects during the tendering phase and apply the Go/No-Go process.
- Prepare commercial offers and negotiate contracts until signature.
- Update CRM records and facilitate Order Kick-Off Meetings.
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams, including the Technical Design Department, Customer Service, and Legal.
- Contribute to technical proposals and efficient project execution.
- Track sales performance, plan strategic actions, and provide bi-monthly sales forecasts.
- Support complex projects, resolve customer disputes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow internal processes, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably within a technical solutions industry.
- Experience managing complex projects in a team environment.
- Strong ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
- Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.
- Solid negotiation skills for handling complex sales processes.
- Professional conduct in customer and internal meetings.
- Well-organized with a disciplined approach to following internal procedures.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
